Why Haruki Murakami should not receive the Nobel Prize for Literature 

Interesting. Murakami is one of my favourite authors, and I was elated to find out he was a (supposed) favourite for a Nobel. But deep down, I knew his works aren’t going to win him the prize. They’re too ambiguous, always balancing between the superficial and the meaningful. That’s one of the things I like about his writing, but it never struck me as Nobel-worthy.
